Das politische Buch über Amerika war sehr gut. Es hat die letzten 30 Jahre in den Vereinigten Staaten gut beschrieben, zum Teil an ganz normalen Personen, zum Teil an politischen oder wirtschaftlichen Geschehnissen, wie z. B dem Platzen der Immobilienblase, über Katrina und Obama, dabei aber immer spannend in kurzen Kapiteln erzählt. Das Buch hat im Bereich Sachbuch den National Book Award 2013 erhalten.
Trotzdem habe ich mich bei meinem nächsten Buch für leichte Jugendlektüre entschieden. Bei der Hitze vielleicht entspannender zu lesen.
