Schuldscheine und die Liebe

Am Sonntag habe ich den Krimi beendet, ich habe allerdings die letzte Hälfte nur quergelesen. Obwohl mir normalerweise blutrünstige Krimis oder Vampirgeschichten nichts ausmachen, konnte ich mit dem Kannibalismus nicht warmwerden, das Buch hat mir ein unwohles Gefühl gegeben. Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, das nicht erklärt wurde, wie der Protagonist zum Menschenfresser wurde, jedenfalls nicht im ersten Teil des Buches. Den zweiten Band werde ich mir definitiv nicht kaufen.

 

Nach dem gruseligen Krimi habe ich daher mit einem ganz netten und beschaulichen Liebesroman begonnen, nichts so Nervenaufreibendes. Ich habe jetzt noch ca. 80 Seiten, die werde ich morgen auslesen.

Entführung und Kannibalismus

- das sind die Themen meines neuen Krimis. Zwar ist das Geheimnis um den Undercover-FBI-Ermittler noch nicht gelüftet, aber soweit ich das bisher gelesen habe, ernährt er sich von Menschenfleisch, offensichtlich von Straftätern, die im Gefängnis hingerichtet wurden. Der Protagonist ist als Anti-Held beschrieben und seine Essensvorlieben machen ihn nicht unbedingt sympathisch. Bisher gefällt mir der Krimi aber, weil er so ganz anders als die beschaulichen österreichischen Kriminalromane ist.

Türkische Literatur

Schon am Freitag habe ich den neuen Roman von Elif Shafak begonnen, und ich werde jetzt am Nachmittag gleich weiterlesen. Elif Shafak ist ja eine meiner Top-Autorinnen und ich freue mich immer, wenn ein neues Buch erscheint.

Das Finale von Caraval

Bereits am Dienstag hab ich mit dem letzten Band der Caraval-Trilogie begonnen, und heute auch schon wieder ausgelesen. In diesem Teil war auch wieder mehr von Scarlett zu lesen, der zweite Band hat ja mehr von ihrer Schwester Donatella gehandelt. Schade, das die Serie damit zu Ende ist.

Zweimal neues Lesefutter

Am Montag habe ich einen Krimi begonnen und gerade eben ausgelesen. Die kurzen Bücher um die Privatdetektivin in Ausbildung, Penny Küfer, sind leicht zu lesen und perfekt bei dem Sommerwetter. Morgen werde ich dann mit einem Buch über Literatur beginnen, das ich erst diese Woche von Amazon bekommen habe.

Frauenprojekt im August: Frauenpower im 2. Weltkrieg

Schon am Donnerstag habe ich den Jack the Ripper-Roman ausgelesen, und für ein Jugendbuch war es ganz schön blutig und brutal. Es hat mir gut gefallen - aber es ist wieder eine mehrteilige Serie... Mal schauen, ob ich die restlichen Bände auch noch kaufen und lesen werde.

 

Am Freitag habe ich dann mit meinem Buch für mein Frauenprojekt begonnen, dieses Mal mit einem Roman. Es geht um drei Frauen, die als Pilotinnen im 2. Weltkrieg in Großbritannien arbeiten. Der Roman basiert ziemlich frei auf der Realität der weiblichen Pilotinnen in Amerika und Großbritannien, und gefällt mir bisher sehr gut.
