Wanderung an der Themse

Gestern Abend habe ich die pakistanische Version von Stolz und Vorurteil gelesen, das Buch ist nur so dahingeflogen. Es hat mir so gut gefallen, das ich mir jetzt auch das englische Original bestellt habe. Eine ganz besonders witzige und schöne Nacherzählung und ein ganz guter Einblick in die pakistanische Gesellschaft.

 

Heute habe ich in der U-Bahn dann begonnen, ein Buch über eine Wanderung entlang der Themse zu lesen. Auch dieses Buch gefällt mir bisher sehr gut, ich habe von diesem Schriftsteller noch eines bei den neuen Büchern liegen, die morgen eingetragen werden. Und gleich noch eines vorbestellt, das Ende April erscheint. In diesen beiden neuen Büchern geht es dann um Reisen mit der Bahn, und um die Liebe zu Europa.
