Neuer Roman

Schon am Freitag Abend habe ich das Unterweger-Buch ausgelesen und fand es beklemmend. Vor allem, wie eigentlich intelligente, erwachsene Frauen auf ihn reinfallen konnten. Mag schon sein, das er einen gewissen Charme hatte, aber da gab es eben auch schon einen Mord vorher, und seine etwas lächerliche Art sich zu kleiden. Sehr bedrückend auch die Schilderungen der Prostituierten-Morde...

 

Gestern Abend habe ich dann mit einem Roman von Joyce Carol Oates begonnen, die ich eigentlich sehr gerne lese. Dieses 2014 erschienene Buch fesselt mich bisher aber leider noch gar nicht. Die Geschichte wird von verschiedenen Personen erzählt und beginnt mit dem Verschwinden einer 18jährigen. Irgendwie erinnert mich das Buch an "Gone Girl", und das war mein Mega-Flop im letzten Jahr. Aber vielleicht wird das Oates-Buch ja noch besser.
