Heute Vormittag habe ich das Buch über die Etymologie der englischen Sprache ausgelesen und es hat mich vom Anfang bis zum Ende begeistert. Der Autor hat durchaus spannend und interessant, aber auch mit einem Augenzwinkern über den Ursprung der Wörter, deren Zusammenhang und Abwandlungen geschrieben. Es hat echt Spaß gemacht und ich werde mich noch ein weiteres von ihm bestellen.
Heute beginne ich dann - passend zum Novemberwetter - mit einem Buch über meine Lieblingsvögel, Krähen und Raben.
