Malta im 2. Weltkrieg

ist wieder einmal mein Thema, dieses Mal aus der Sicht eines Spitfire-Piloten. Die ersten 50 Seiten habe ich schon gelesen und bin begeistert. Eine kurze historische Einführung und das Alltagsleben von Piloten und Armeeangehörigen wird gut beschrieben, auch die maltesische Bevölkerung kommt zu Wort. Und natürlich die Tagebucheintragungen und Briefe von David Douglas-Hamilton.
