Heute Abend beginne ich mit einem weiteren Buch über Musik für mein Leseprojekt 2018, und zwar mit Erzählungen. Ishiguro's Geschichten haben auch vom Titel her mit Musik zu tun: "Crooner", "Come Rain or come Shine", "Malvern Hills", "Nocturne" und "Cellists".
Mit "The Golden House" bin ich zwar noch nicht fertig, ich habe noch etwa 100 Seiten. Aber ich möchte den neuen Rushdie heute nicht noch einmal nach Meidling mitschleppen. Und Nocturnes ist ein Taschenbuch mit knapp 200 Seiten, das lässt sich leichter ausführen.
