Lost for Words

Heute, nach dem Frühstück, habe ich die letzten paar Seiten von meinem Buch über das Lesen von Literatur ausgelesen. Es hat mir im großen und ganzen sehr gut gefallen, allerdings ist einer meiner Lieblingsautoren, nämlich John Updike schlecht weggekommen. Und das hat mir den guten Herrn Eagleton ein wenig unsympathisch gemacht. Glücklicherweise war das aber erst im letzten Kapitel, wo es um den Wert der Literatur ging.

 

Am Abend werde ich dann mit einem Liebesroman beginnen, der die Bücherwelt zum Thema hat. Der Buchtitel passt ja auch vollkommen zu mir, und wie die Protagonistin würde ich auch gerne in einem Verlag arbeiten - oder Buchhandlung oder Bibliothek... Das Buch musste endlich auch aus meinem Stapel ungelesener Bücher befreit werden: es hat da seit dem 28.06.2008 auf mich gewartet. Und jetzt war mir nach einem Liebesroman.
