Nachdem ich die Biographie von Cole Porter gestern ausgelesen habe, habe ich mich heute Morgen für ein sehr dünnes Büchlein entschieden. Bisher gefällt es mir ganz gut, aber ich fürchte mit nur 85 Seiten wird das keine gute Geschichte, von Roman ganz zu schweigen. Es ist mehr wie ein Appetithäppchen. Der Vampir ist ein wenig Eric Northman aus den Sookie Stackhouse-Romanen nachempfunden, hier aber ein ehemaliger Malteser Ritter. Und die Geschichte spielt eben auf meiner Lieblingsinsel Malta. Bei den Ortsbeschreibungen bekomme ich fast Heimweh - jedenfalls kenne ich die Kirchen und viele der Gebäude und Straßen und Orte.
