Noch ein Weihnachtsbuch

Gestern habe ich das Valletta-Buch fertig angeschaut. Am Anfang des Buches waren einige kurze Geschichten, die Valletta in der Vergangenheit, aber auch in der Zukunft beschrieben haben. Die Fotos waren sehr schön, der Großteil in Schwarz-Weiß. Erkannt habe ich allerdings nur wenige der Stadtansichten.

 

Heute habe ich dann mit dem Weihnachtsbuch einer meiner Lieblingsautorinnen begonnen. Es gibt 12 Geschichten, die teils sehr emotional sind, und teils auch sehr gruselig. Nach jeder Geschichte folgt auch ein Rezept. Bisher gefällt es mir sehr gut, weil auch eine sehr persönliche Einleitung in dem Buch ist, und gerade bei den Rezepten erzählt sich auch Geschichten aus ihrem Leben. Bei eingelegtem Rotkraut erzählt sie über ihre Freundschaft zu Ruth Rendell, die ich ja auch sehr gerne gelesen habe.
