Lieblingsautor und Lieblingsthema

Gestern Abend habe ich das Wien-Buch ausgelesen und war begeistert. Auch wenn es von serbischen Schriftsteller Stanislav Vinaver geschrieben wurde, war es ein wunderbarer, altösterreichischer Text. Solche Essays werden heute nicht mehr geschrieben - was ich persönlich für sehr schade finde. Das Nachkriegs-Wien (nach dem ersten Weltkrieg) wurde sehr lebendig, sehr lebensnah beschrieben. Ich bin echt froh, das ich mir dieses Buch damals bei Jokers bestellt habe.

Heute Abend habe ich dann mit einem dünnen (nur 200 Seiten) Buch von Orhan Pamuk begonnen. Ich bin ja ein Pamuk-Fan, und in diesem Buch geht es um Literatur - um Vorlesungen an einer Uni, um genau zu sein. Gewidmet ist es der Schriftstellerin Kieran Desai, von der ich auch schon ein Buch gelesen habe.
